Werder Bremen: A Partnership in Green

Tutima has operated from Ganderkesee — 30 minutes from the Weserstadion — since the 1950s. The Werder Bremen partnership, announced in November 2025, connects neighbors.

Tutima describes itself as a "gesamtdeutsche Uhrenmarke" — an all-German watch brand. The description is literal. Movements are assembled in Glashütte, Saxony. The company's administrative headquarters have been in Ganderkesee, Lower Saxony, since the Kurtz family relocated west after the war. Ganderkesee sits in the Bremen metropolitan area. SV Werder Bremen holds third place in the all-time Bundesliga table.

The partnership puts Tutima on LED pitch-side boards during added time of every Werder home match. Matthias Stotz framed it simply: Werder is one of the most tradition-rich football clubs in Germany — the all-time table confirms it.

A special edition accompanies the partnership. It is limited to 112 pieces — a nod to the "12th man," the shirt number traditionally assigned to the fans. The base is the Grand Flieger Airport Chronograph, Ref. 6407-99. The case is 41mm stainless steel, 16mm in height, pressure tested to 20 atmospheres. A unidirectional green ceramic bezel replaces the standard bidirectional version. The dial is green dégradé, printed with the Werder diamond logo.

Caliber 310 automatic provides a minimum 56-hour power reserve. The sapphire caseback is printed with "Werder Bremen" and engraved with the individual limitation number. A textile strap with leather lining closes on a deployment clasp. Retail price is €3,600.

The 112 pieces are available at Werder Fanwelt, the Werder Onlineshop, and Juwelier Dodenhof in Posthausen.

The tagline reads: "Hanseatische Haltung vereint mit sächsischer Sorgfalt." Hanseatic attitude united with Saxon care. The distance between Ganderkesee and the Weserstadion is 25 kilometers.
