Fine Addresses for Fine Watches
Baselworld 2014
Tutima continues its path into the brand’s future: by further refining the new collection and opening a second production site in Glashütte.
Creating new watchmaking highlights—and growing with them: the worldwide positive response confirms and fuels the high expectations surrounding Tutima’s retu to its place of origin, Glashütte.
In addition to the manufacture building on Altenberger Straße, Tutima is making room for big ideas. The new production area on Hauptstraße is where the watches for the four new lines are created. Over the past 12 months, the models have been continually refined and elevated—further increasing their high level of fine-mechanical quality.
The striking lead model of the new Glashütte collection, the SAXON ONE, asserts its powerful presence at Baselworld 2014. A key highlight is a defining specialty: Tutima’s elaborately engineered central minute counter construction.
The stainless-steel watch, with its outstanding case architecture, impresses with additional new details. The bidirectionally rotating bezel features Tutima’s signature red index mark; its deliberately restrained look underscores the model’s exclusive character. The chronograph hands for the timing functions also appear in a fine red. The chronograph pushers integrate seamlessly into the steel architecture and lines. Fitted with a high-quality reptile-leather strap with a folding clasp, the SAXON ONE is the perfect companion—not only for stylish occasions.
It is not only its place of origin that elevates the new generation of watches “Made in Glashütte.” All rotors—the symbol of the automatic drive of the precise movement—are ado ed with the Tutima T in solid gold: a sign of the value and authenticity of a true Tutima.
