The 1941 three-register layout in a watch built for the long haul. Ceramic bidirectional bezel — ceramic doesn't scratch the way steel does, so the bezel will look the same in ten years as it does today. Cal. 320 chronograph: day, date, three totalizers, 48-hour power reserve. Flip it over and you see a rhodium-plated rotor with an 18K gold seal — the kind of finishing that exists whether or not anyone checks. Textile strap option. A pilot's watch that aged into a traveler's watch — it works as well in an airport terminal as it does in a cockpit.
